Flower Show Art
For our flower show art we studied Maori patterns. From here we cut up small pieces of paper and created our own Maori Mosiacs.

Our Mihi
While we have been getting to know each other in Com 1, we have been revisiting our Mihi. A Mihi is a greeting in Maori (the indigenous people of NZ). It is used to introduce ourselves. When many people get together for the first time, it is nice to make connections. A mihi helps us identify what people, places and ancestors we might have in common with people we are meeting for the first time.
